Mittelerde: Mordors Schatten wird einen Season Pass bekommen und steht damit voll und ganz im Industrie-Trend – wer ein großes Spiel ohne Season Pass finden will, muss vermutlich sehr lange suchen. Die DLC-Sammlung des an einen Mix aus Assassin’s Creed und Batman im “Herr der Ringe”-Setting erinnernden Action-Titels hat bisher noch keinen offiziellen Kaufpreis verpasst bekommen. Inhaltstechnisch wissen wir aber besser Bescheid: Neben diversen Ingame-Items soll es neue Missionen mit Stunden an Spielspaß, neue Gegner, neue Gebiete und einen vorzeitigen Zugriff auf den Challenge Modus sowie alle kommenden DLCs bei deren Erscheinen geben.
