Der Multiplayer von Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare wurde bekanntlich auf der GamesCom vorgestellt und bietet mit dem Exosuit nicht nur ein neues Element, sondern auch viele Änderungen – meterhohe Sprünge, das Wegfallen des Fallschadens und temporär aktivierbare Features wie Unsichtbarkeit sind nunmal neu für die Serie. Wenig überraschend: Während sich ein Teil der Community über die Neuerungen freut, ist ein anderer Teil der Spielerbasis geschockt und unglücklich. Dazu besteht allerdings kein Anlass: Wie Entwickler Sledgehammer Games angekündigt hat, wird es auch eine Playlist ohne den Exosuit geben.

Die Standard-Playlist wird übrigens mit mindestens zwölf Modi – inklusive Capture the Flag, Kill Confirmed und dem neuen Uplink-Modus -  umfassend aufgestellt sein. Details zu den Modi der traditionellen Playlist gibt es aktuell noch nicht.

We have at least twelve modes out of the box, things like Capture the Flag, Kill Confirmed, Momentum, and Uplink – all those have the ability to use the Exo and the boost jump and everything it brings. But we also understand that some players may want to go back to a more traditional style, so there will be a traditional playlist, where you can play Team Deathmatch and Domination, Capture the Flag and others without boost jump, without the Exo.
